Job summary

Aidacare Pty Ltd on the Gold Coast is seeking a Service Technician to carry out maintenance, repairs and testing of healthcare equipment including beds, patient hoists, wheelchairs and scooters. The role is based in Burleigh Heads, Queensland, with a full-time, permanent schedule and regional travel as required.

You'll troubleshoot, service records, and ensure compliance with Australian Standards while delivering excellent customer service and staying up-to-date with product features.

Qualifications

• Preference for Mechanical or Service Technician background in healthcare or service-related sector.
• Strong problem solving to customer’s needs and provide appropriate solutions
• Ability to deliver a high level of communication and professional customer service
• The ability to work independently with strong time management, punctuality and admin skillset
• Current and valid Driver’s License and willing to travel to meet client requirements

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and complete repairs and servicing with the highest level of skill and customer service
• Preparing clear, accurate and concise service records
• Maintaining servicing equipment and the company vehicle in a good condition, ensuring inventory is adequate
• Become an expert on our products, staying up-to-date with new features and offerings and using this knowledge to deliver seamless repairs
• Maintain the safety and integrity of all serviced products in accordance with Australian Standards and Company Policy

Essential Skills & Qualifications
