Job summary

Aidacare is seeking a Field Service Technician - PM to join our team in Burleigh Heads, Queensland. You will perform maintenance, repairs and testing on healthcare equipment, including beds, hoists, wheelchairs and motorised scooters, ensuring high standards of service and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, documenting service records, maintaining the company vehicle and equipment, and staying up-to-date with product features to deliver seamless repairs.

Qualifications

• Preference for mechanical or service technician background within healthcare.
• Strong problem solving to meet customer needs and provide solutions.
• Excellent communication and professional customer service.
• Ability to work independently with good time management and admin skills.
• Current and valid driver's license with willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair healthcare equipment with high skill and customer focus.
• Prepare clear, accurate service records.
• Maintain servicing equipment and company vehicle in good condition.
• Become an expert on products and stay up-to-date with features.
• Ensure safety and integrity of serviced products per standards and policy.
• Operate company van, mobile and laptop, with provided incentives.

Job description

In this key role, you would carry out necessary maintenance, repairs and testing of our healthcare equipment. This equipment would include beds, patient hoists, wheelchairs, motorised scooters and a wide range of medical equipment and health aids.

Role Title: Field Service Technician - PM

Location: Burleigh Heads, Queensland, Australia

Hours: Monday – Friday, Full Time Permanent

Reporting:QLD Service Manager

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Preference for a Mechanical or Service Technician background or field experience within the healthcare or service-related sector.
• Strong problem solving to customer’s needs and provide appropriate solutions
• Ability to deliver a high level of communication and professional customer service
• The ability to work independently with strong time management, punctuality and admin skillset
• Current and valid Driver’s License and willing to travel to meet client requirements

Duties & Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and complete repairs and servicing with the highest level of skill and customer service
• Preparing clear, accurate and concise service records
• Maintaining servicing equipment and the company vehicle in a good condition, ensuring inventory is adequate
• Become an expert on our products, staying up-to-date with new features and offerings and using this knowledge to deliver seamless repairs
• Maintain the safety and integrity of all serviced products in accordance with Australian Standards and Company Policy
• Fully maintained company van, mobile and laptop
