Job summary

Aidacare in Cairns, Queensland, is seeking a proactive Field Service Technician to perform maintenance, repairs and testing of our healthcare equipment including beds, hoists, wheelchairs and scooters. You will travel to client sites, work Monday to Friday, and report to the FNQ Associate Regional Manager.

You will troubleshoot, complete service records, maintain the company van and gear, and stay updated on product features to deliver seamless repairs.

Qualifications

• Preference for Mechanical or Service Technician background or field experience in healthcare or service-related sector.
• Strong problem solving to customer’s needs and provide appropriate solutions.
• Ability to deliver a high level of communication and professional customer service.
• Ability to work independently with strong time management, punctuality and admin skillset.
• Current and valid Driver’s License and willing to travel to meet client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and complete repairs and servicing with the highest level of skill and customer service
• Preparing clear, accurate and concise service records
• Maintaining servicing equipment and the company vehicle in a good condition, ensuring inventory is adequate
• Become an expert on our products, staying up-to-date with new features and offerings and using this knowledge to deliver seamless repairs
• Maintain the safety and integrity of all serviced products in accordance with Australian Standards and Company Policy
• Fully maintained company van, mobile and laptop

In this key role, you would carry out necessary maintenance, repairs and testing of our healthcare equipment. This equipment would include beds, patient hoists, wheelchairs, motorised scooters and a wide range of medical equipment and health aids.

Location: Cairns, Queensland, Australia

Hours: Monday - Friday, Full Time Permanent

Reporting: FNQ Associate Regional Manager
