Job summary

Aidacare Pty Ltd in Townsville, Queensland, is seeking a Service Technician - General to carry out maintenance, repairs and testing of healthcare equipment. You will support the CASE representative with assemblies, breakdowns, deliveries and set up of new equipment, ensuring safety and compliance.

The role requires practical hands-on skills, strong communication with customers, and the ability to work independently with travel to client sites. A company vehicle is provided.

Qualifications

• Background in mechanical or service technician fields.
• Strong problem-solving to customer needs.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Independent worker with strong time management and admin skills.
• Current valid Driver's Licence and willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and complete repairs and servicing with high skill and customer service.
• Prepare clear, accurate service records.
• Maintain servicing equipment and company vehicle, ensuring inventory is adequate.
• Become an expert on our products and stay up-to-date with new features for seamless repairs.
• Maintain safety and integrity of all serviced products per Australian Standards and Company Policy.

About The Role

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Preference for a Mechanical or Service Technician background or field experience within the healthcare or service-related sector.
• Strong problem solving to customer’s needs and provide appropriate solutions
• Ability to deliver a high level of communication and professional customer service
• The ability to work independently with strong time management, punctuality and admin skillset
• Current and valid Driver’s License and willing to travel to meet client requirements

Duties & Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and complete repairs and servicing with the highest level of skill and customer service
• Preparing clear, accurate and concise service records
• Maintaining servicing equipment and the company vehicle in a good condition, ensuring inventory is adequate
• Become an expert on our products, staying up-to‑date with new features and offerings and using this knowledge to deliver seamless repairs
• Maintain the safety and integrity of all serviced products in accordance with Australian Standards and Company Policy
