Job summary

Aidacare is seeking a dedicated maintenance and repair technician to service a range of healthcare equipment in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne. The role involves diagnosing faults, performing repairs, and keeping detailed service records while delivering excellent customer service on-site for our clients.

Based in Thomastown, the role offers full-time permanent hours, company vehicle and tools provided, plus ongoing training and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Preference for a Mechanical or Service Technician background or field experience within the healthcare or service-related sector.
• Strong problem solving to customer's needs and provide appropriate solutions.
• Ability to deliver a high level of communication and professional customer service.
• The ability to work independently with strong time management, punctuality and admin skillset.
• Current and valid Driver'sLicense and willing to travel to meet client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and complete repairs and servicing with the highest level of skill and customer service.
• Preparing clear, accurate and concise service records.
• Maintaining servicing equipment and the company vehicle in a good condition, ensuring inventory is adequate.
• Become an expert on our products, staying up-to-date with new features and offerings and using this knowledge to deliver seamless repairs.
• Maintain the safety and integrity of all serviced products in accordance with Australian Standards and Company Policy.
• Fully maintained company van, mobile and laptop.

Job description

In this key role, you would carry out necessary maintenance,repairs and testing of our healthcare equipment. This equipment would includebeds, patient hoists, wheelchairs, motorised scooters and a wide range ofmedical equipment and health aids.

Location: Northern Suburbs - Thomastown, Victoria, Australia

Hours: Monday -Friday, Full Time Permanent

Reporting: Service Manager - Aidacare Contract Services
