Job summary

Townsville GMSV in Townsville is seeking a motivated Service Advisor to be the first point of contact for service customers, ensuring a professional and seamless experience. You will manage bookings, explain servicing needs, prepare repair orders, and liaise with workshop technicians.

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will provide progress updates, prepare estimates and invoices, resolve customer inquiries, and promote recommended maintenance while upholding exceptional customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer-facing automotive role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
• A professional and customer-centric approach.
• The ability to work effectively in a busy team environment.
• Strong computer and administration skills.
• Experience using dealership management systems (desirable).
• A current driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers and managing service bookings.
• Consulting with customers regarding vehicle servicing and repair requirements.
• Preparing repair orders and job documentation.
• Liaising between customers and workshop technicians.
• Providing updates on vehicle progress and completion times.
• Preparing service estimates and invoices.
• Managing customer enquiries and resolving concerns professionally.
• Promoting additional services and maintenance recommendations where appropriate.
• Ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction at every stage of the service process.
