SAS Australia is seeking an experienced Senior Account Executive for the APAC region, based in Canberra. The role is hybrid, partnering with public sector customers on mission-critical initiatives and driving full-cycle software sales.

You will lead engagements, shape territory strategy, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver impact while building long-term customer relationships.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience in the sales or business development of software solutions (including related services) with a focus on Public Sector in Australia.

Responsabilités

• Sell software, solutions, and services to current and prospective customers, collaborating with sales, pre-sales, and domain experts to maximize opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Identify and qualify business opportunities by prospecting within accounts, fulfilling information requests, and evaluating the level of opportunity and required resources.
• Implement and manage territory and account strategies, advancing opportunities through the sales cycle and forecasting timelines to close business.
• Ensure timely responses to high-potential opportunities and facilitate customer engagement by coordinating closely with pre-sales and executives.
• Prepare and customize quotations, proposals, and contracts, working with internal departments to finalize agreements and set delivery schedules.
