Job summary

Salesforce.com, inc. in Canberra is seeking strategic Account Executives to lead the digital transformation of federal government agencies across Australia.

You will own the full sales cycle and work with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored Salesforce solutions that drive public-sector outcomes. You will engage with stakeholders across Defence, Home Affairs, Health, Justice, Finance and other departments, building trusted advisor relationships and guiding agencies through procurement

Responsibilities

• Drive adoption of Salesforce solutions across federal public sector agencies, supporting digital transformation initiatives.
• Prospect and develop new business opportunities, identifying and engaging potential clients across government departments and statutory bodies.
• Manage complex sales cycles from prospecting to close, with a consultative and value-based approach.
• Partner with Solution Engineers, Industry Specialists, Customer Success teams, and strategic partners to co-create tailored solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across federal agencies.
• Understand policy, compliance, procurement, and security requirements relevant to the public sector.
• Stay ahead of market trends, particularly how technology, AI, and automation are shaping public sector operations.
• Represent Salesforce at industry events, roundtables, and stakeholder engagements.
