Job summary

TSS is recruiting an HR Advisor/HR Generalist for an established organisation in the resources sector, based in Perth. This broad role covers employee relations, ER, performance management and end-to-end HR processes, with involvement across remuneration, learning and development and compliance with Australian employment legislation.

You'll work closely with managers and staff to provide practical HR guidance, support day-to-day HR activities and contribute to the wider people function in a busy

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related discipline.
• Experience in an HR Officer, HR Advisor, HR Generalist or similar role.
• Solid knowledge of Australian employment legislation (Fair Work Act, NES).
• Experience supporting employee relations, performance management and HR activities.

Responsibilities

• Providing advice and support across employee relations, performance management, grievances and workplace matters.
• Supporting managers with employee issues, investigations and the application of HR policies and procedures.
• Interpreting and applying the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards (NES) and relevant employment legislation.
• Managing general HR activities across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employment documentation and employee records.
• Supporting remuneration and benefits activities, payroll-related queries and other employment matters as required.
• Assisting with learning and development, employee engagement and organisational development initiatives.
• Supporting workers' compensation and return-to-work processes where required.
• Contributing to HR projects, process improvements and the consistent application of HR policies and procedures.
• Building effective relationships with employees, managers and key stakeholders across the business.
