Job summary

Unisys is seeking a skilled field engineer to install, repair, and maintain product and component hardware and software at customer sites across Australia. You’ll own onsite service activity, coordinate with technical teams, and ensure systems operate as designed and meet requirements.

Requirements include 2+ years in field engineering or related technical support, Australian citizenship, and baseline/NV1 security clearance.

Qualifications

• Technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in field engineering or related technical support roles.
• Proven ability to perform maintenance, installations, and troubleshooting in customer environments.
• Australian Citizenship required.
• Baseline / NV1 security clearance mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs, and provides maintenance for hardware and software at customer premises.
• Manages scheduling, administration, and customer communications for satisfaction with service delivery.
• Provides field engineering support for large and complex clients.
• Owns onsite service activity and contributes to improved client service metrics.
• Delivers proactive technical feedback to improve service delivery and equipment performance.
