This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes, keeping things organised, and supporting a team that makes a genuine difference in the lives of people with disability.

Working closely with our Rostering Coordinator and HR Assistant, you will provide essential rostering and administrative support to help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our services. This is a varied role suited to someone who can manage competing priorities, communicate effectively, and take pride in getting the details right.

About the Role

This part-time position will involve a combination of rostering assistance and general administrative duties across our rostering and administration functions.

You will play an important role in supporting our rostering and admin team, assisting with staff scheduling, and ensuring administrative tasks are completed efficiently and within required timeframes.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Assisting the Rostering Coordinator with daily rostering tasks, including shift allocations, roster changes, and filling vacant shifts.
  • Supporting communication with staff regarding roster updates, availability, and shift confirmations.
  • Assisting with monitoring staff availability and identifying potential rostering gaps.
  • Providing administrative support to the whole office team
  • Maintaining accurate records, spreadsheets, and electronic files.
  • Assisting with data entry, reporting, and general administrative tasks.
  • Supporting the wider team with day-to-day operational and administrative requirements.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and ensuring information is handled appropriately.
About You

You are an organised, reliable, and adaptable individual who enjoys being part of a busy team. You have strong attention to detail, communicate confidently with a range of people, and can manage multiple tasks without losing sight of the important details.

You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change throughout the day, and you understand the importance of accurate rostering and administration in ensuring consistent, high-quality support for our participants.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Previous experience in an administrative, rostering, scheduling, or coordination role.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when entering and maintaining information.
  • Confidence using computers, Microsoft Office, and online systems.
  • The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to follow tasks through to completion.
  • A professional approach to handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Experience within the Disability Sector will be highly regarded
What We Offer
