Job summary

Healthcare Australia is seeking a Rostering Officer to coordinate and maintain client and support worker rosters, ensuring timely, high-quality care aligned with individual needs.

You will work with Customer Care Managers to match clients with skilled workers, manage rostering systems, and drive service delivery and cost efficiency while building strong relationships with clients and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in rostering, scheduling, workforce coordination or a similar administrative position.
• Strong organisational and communication skills with ability to manage competing priorities.
• Proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Office and rostering databases.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain client and support worker rosters.
• Coordinate services that align with client goals, preferences, and cultural requirements.
• Act as the central point of contact for rostering enquiries from clients and staff.
• Ensure shifts are allocated to suitably qualified and compliant support workers.
• Communicate roster changes and visit schedules in a timely manner.
• Optimise rosters to maximise service delivery and cost efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records across databases and rostering systems.
• Build positive relationships with clients, carers, support workers, and internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Home Care service.
