Job summary

Service NSW in Deniliquin is seeking a Part-time Customer Service Representative to join the local Service Centre. You will handle face-to-face and phone inquiries, resolve issues and refer customers to the right services with courtesy and professionalism.

This role supports regional clients, requires a friendly, adaptable attitude and strong communication skills, and offers development opportunities along with health and wellbeing programs.

Qualifications

• High school certificate or equivalent required.
• Ability to sit for long periods.
• Strong computer and typing skills.
• Good internet connection and desk setup.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers by answering calls promptly, replying to emails within 24 hours, and meeting with customers in person as needed.
• Resolve complaints and problems in a polite, efficient manner to retain customers.
• Perform basic billing duties, process transactions, issue refunds, and resolve past billing discrepancies.
• Provide customers with shipment status updates and assist with packaging and shipping as needed.
• Update customer databases with contact details, complaints/resolutions, billing, and auto-shipment enrolment.
• Meet weekly, monthly and annual goals for call volume, customer satisfaction, and sales.
