Service NSW in Deniliquin is seeking a Part-time Customer Service Representative to join the local Service Centre. You will handle face-to-face and phone inquiries, resolve issues and refer customers to the right services with courtesy and professionalism.
This role supports regional clients, requires a friendly, adaptable attitude and strong communication skills, and offers development opportunities along with health and wellbeing programs.
We have a need for someone who has experience supporting using the website chat system on their website. Most of the inquiries are from prospects who have come to the site as a result of marketing and advertising activities.
You need to have very good computer and typing skills and understand the value of research to discover as much information as possible about the business you're working for so you know where to refer website visitors for the information they want.
There may be times when you have multiple chat windows open so you need to be able to multi-task and good customer service skills to ensure that every person is looked after politely and professionally.

In our Service Centres hours vary between locations. You can check the opening hours for each Service Centre here. Flexibility is to work on a rotating roster between the Service Centre’s operational hours which may include Saturdays.
The Service NSW Award hours are 6:30am - 7:30pm (Monday to Friday) and 7:30am - 3:30pm (Saturdays). In some situations, you may be required to work during these hours.
Part-time – minimum 14 hours per week - (Monday to Friday)
Full-time – 70 hours per fortnight
Hours are also subject to change based on the needs of the business.
