Job summary

Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise is seeking an Assistant Night Manager to join the Front Office team on a full-time basis. You will oversee overnight front desk operations, guest service standards, night audits, and safety monitoring, ensuring the property runs smoothly during evening hours.

Ideal candidates bring at least 1 year of night managerial or night audit experience, strong communication, problem-solving, and a RSA certificate with Australian working rights.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Night Manager, Assistant Night Manager, or Night Audit role in a hotel environment.
• Confident leading overnight operations independently
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• RSA certified and full Australian working rights required
• Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, and public holidays

Responsibilities

• Oversee night operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest service standards
• Manage overnight Front Office team and provide coaching as required
• Conduct night audits and reporting, ensuring accurate documentation and billing
• Handle guest feedback, complaints, and emergency situations with confidence
• Monitor hotel safety, security, and compliance procedures overnight
• Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless operations
• Ensure cash handling, POS reconciliation, and financial controls are maintained
