Job summary

Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise is hiring an Assistant Night Manager to oversee hotel operations during the night, ensure front office efficiency, guest safety, and exceptional service. The role is full-time and on-site in Surfers Paradise, QLD.

You will supervise night staff, manage check-ins/check-outs, and generate nightly reports to uphold brand standards. Ideal candidates have strong front office and night audit skills, solid customer service abilities, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience with hotel front office and night audit procedures.
• Proven customer service and guest relations abilities.
• Leadership and ability to coach night staff.
• Strong organizational skills and time management.
• Knowledge of safety, security and emergency procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Experience in hotel operations or hospitality management.
• Able to work overnight shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Knowledge of the Gold Coast area is advantageous.
• Formal hospitality training is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervise night staff and coordinate workloads.
• Oversee check-ins/check-outs and guest inquiries at night.
• Complete nightly audits, prepare reports, ensure brand standards.
• Maintain cash-handling procedures and security protocols.
• Liaise with other departments and respond to incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for late arrivals and early departures.
