Job summary

Holiday Inn Perth City Centre is seeking an Assistant Night Manager to lead overnight hotel operations, ensure guest safety, complete night audits, and support the Night Manager and Operations Manager. You will handle emergencies, payments, check-ins/outs, and collaborate with Reservations, Sales and F&B to maintain service standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in a Front Office role, strong working knowledge of Opera PMS, solid numeracy for auditing, plus excellent

Qualifications

• At least 1 year' experience within a hotel Front Office role.
• Strong working knowledge on PMS (Opera).
• Accounting and mathematics skills for accurate auditing and payment processing.
• Excellent problem solving, decision making and time management skills.
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Sound understanding of Quore is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the Night Manager to manage guest experiences, team performance and hotel operations during the overnight shifts.
• Be the first point of contact for any critical emergency situations in the absence of the Night Manager.
• Process payments including room charges, debit/credit, and cash in accordance with established procedures.
• Complete check ins and check outs as per hotel standards and manage wake-up calls.
• Have authentic conversations with guests to resolve issues, queries or concerns.
• Run night audit process on PMS (Opera) or manual equivalents.
• Enrol guests to the IHG One Rewards Loyalty Program and promote benefits.
• Collaborate with Reservations, Sales and F&B to deliver guest experiences.
