Job summary

Extend After School Care is seeking an OSHC Service Coordinator to lead after-school programs at John XXIII College, Claremont. You will plan science experiments, sports events, and creative activities while ensuring safety, inclusivity and strong engagement with students and school leadership.

The role focuses on managing day-to-day service operations, developing meaningful programs, and coordinating with the Programs Engagement Manager and compliance experts to maintain high-quality OSHC

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching, or School Aged Care.
• Diploma/Bachelor/Master required or in progress with relevant studies.
• Valid Working With Children Check and related safety certifications (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to plan engaging activities and coordinate safe, inclusive programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and program engaging science, sports, arts and educational activities that kids enjoy.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive environment where every child thrives.
• Prepare healthy snacks to support energy and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with Programs Engagement Manager on assessments and ratings with expert support.
• Engage stakeholders and coordinate daily operations to ensure smooth service delivery.

Job Details & Role

About your service: John XXIII College, Claremont

Hourly Rate: $47.81 to $50.00 Per Hour + 12% Super.

Additional payment of $2.07 to $2.15 per hour available under Worker Retention Payment Scheme.

• Days Required: Monday to Thursday. Four days per week required.
• After School Care: 2:15 PM- 6:00 PM.
• Total Hours: 15 hours per week.
• Contract: Casual.
• Professional development sessions are paid training sessions, and Retention payments are above award.

• Champion Quality: Work with your Programs Engagement Manager on Assessment & Ratings with the full backing of our compliance experts at our unit TEG Compass.
• The Community Connector: Ensure every stakeholder is heard and valued while building successful, integrated OSHC programs.
• The Clockwork Catalyst: Manage the day-to-day "business" of the service, ensuring everything runs like clockwork.
