Job summary

Extend After School Care is seeking an OSHC Relief Service Coordinator to lead school holiday and after-school care programs at St Oliver Plunkett School, Pascoe Vale and St Luke's Primary School, Lalor. You’ll design engaging activities, ensure safety, and manage day-to-day service operations in a casual shift pattern with ongoing professional development and retention payments.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Bachelor’s, Masters in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching, or School Aged Care, Youth Work, Community Services.Qualifications may be approved.
• Warm, engaging and have a can-do attitude.
• Valid Working With Children Check, Child Protection Training Certificate, First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management (willingness to obtain).
• Master Connector: build trust with children, educators, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Plan and program activities like science experiments, sports, arts that kids want to do.
• Lead a safe, inclusive environment so every child feels like a rockstar.
• Prepare healthy, tasty snacks to keep energy up.
• Collaborate with Programs Engagement Manager on assessments with our compliance team at TEG Compass.
• Engage with stakeholders and build integrated OSHC programs.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the service to run smoothly.

Job Details & Role

About your service: St Oliver Plunkett School, Pascoe Vale and St Luke's Primary School, Lalor.

Hourly Rate: $49.88 - $52.15 Per Hour (Including Worker Retention Payment Scheme) + 12% Super.

• Days Required: Monday to Friday. Five days per week required.
• Before School Care: 7:00 am to 9:00 am.
• After School Care: 2:45 pm to 6:00 pm.
• Vacation Care: Up to 30 hours per week.
• Contract: Casual.
• Professional development sessions are paid training sessions, and Retention payments are above award.

• The Clockwork Catalyst: Manage the day-to-day "business" of the service, ensuring everything runs like clockwork.
