Job summary

The Extend Group is seeking an OSHC Service Coordinator for services around Mount Barker and Strathalbyn. You will lead engaging activities and ensure a safe, inclusive environment while delivering nutrition-rich snacks.

The role is casual, with shifts across before/after school care and flexible vacation care scheduling. You should have or be pursuing a relevant diploma/degree in early childhood or related fields, plus WWCC, First Aid, CPR and related certifications.

Responsibilities

• Plan and program engaging activities (science, sports, arts) that kids want to do
• Lead a safe, inclusive environment where every child feels valued
• Prepare healthy snacks to maintain energy levels
• Collaborate with Programs Engagement Manager on assessment & ratings with compliance support
• Engage with families and school leaders to build integrated OSHC programs
• Manage day-to-day operations of the service to run smoothly

Job Details & Role

About your service: Work across services in surrounding suburbs of Mount Barker and Strathalbyn

Hourly Rate: $47.81 to $50.00 Per Hour + 12% Super.

Additional payment of $2.07 to $2.15 per hour available under Worker Retention Payment Scheme.

• Hours: Work 2-3 shifts or more, across Before and After School Care.
• Vacation Care: Flexible 38 Hours per week.
• Contract: Casual.
• Professional development sessions are paid training sessions, and Retention payments are above award.

• The Community Connector: Ensure every stakeholder is heard and valued while building successful, integrated OSHC programs.
• The Clockwork Catalyst: Manage the day-to-day "business" of the service, ensuring everything runs like clockwork.
