Job summary

The Extend Group is seeking an OSHC Service Coordinator for Brighton Grammar School in Melbourne. This casual position focuses on after-school care, planning engaging activities, and coordinating safe, high-quality OSHC programs for school-aged children.

You will lead safe, inclusive programs, prepare healthy snacks, and work with our Programs Engagement Manager to ensure compliance and continuous improvement across services.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor/Master in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching, School Aged Care, Youth Work or related field.
• Studying toward an approved qualification is acceptable for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Plan and program engaging activities like science experiments, sports, art, and other educational experiences.
• Lead a safe, inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported.
• Prepare healthy, tasty snacks to maintain energy levels for children in care.
• Collaborate with the Programs Engagement Manager and our compliance team to support assessment and ratings.
• Build strong relationships with families, educators, and school leadership to ensure integrated OSHC programs.

Job Details & Role

About your service: Brighton Grammar School, Brighton.

Hourly Rate: $49.88 - $52.15 Per Hour (Including Worker Retention Payment Scheme) + 12% Super.

• Days Required: Monday to Friday.


• After School Care: 2:35 pm to 6:00 pm.


• Total Hours: 17 hours and 5 minutes per week.


• Contract: Casual.


• Professional development sessions are paid training sessions, and Retention payments are above award.
