Job summary

Lindisfarne Anglican Grammar School, Tweed Heads, is seeking an OOSH Vacation Care Coordinator for a casual role with Monday to Friday duties. You will plan science experiments, sports, and arts, ensuring engaging activities for children in the Vacation Care program.

You will supervise a safe, inclusive environment, provide healthy snacks, and work with the Programs Engagement Manager on assessments and ratings while supporting integrated OOSH programs.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor/Master in Early Childhood or related field; ACECQA approval essential.
• Valid Working With Children Check and Child Protection Training; First Aid/CPR; Anaphylaxis & Asthma management (willingness to obtain).
• Warm, engaging, can-do attitude with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan and program engaging activities (science, sports, arts) that kids enjoy.
• Lead a safe, inclusive environment where every child feels valued.
• Prepare healthy snacks to maintain energy levels throughout the day.
• Collaborate with Programs Engagement Manager on Assessments & Ratings.
• Build strong relationships with families, educators and school leaders.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the service to run smoothly.

Job Details & Role

About your service: Lindisfarne Anglican Grammar School, Tweed Heads.

Hourly Rate: $47.81 to $50.00 Per Hour + 12% Super.

Additional payment of $2.07 to $2.15 per hour available under Worker Retention Payment Scheme.

• Days Required: Monday to Friday starting 28th September 2026.
• Vacation Care: Flexible upto 38 Hours per week.
• Contract: Casual
• Professional development sessions are paid training sessions, and Retention payments are above award.
