Job summary

The Extend Group is seeking an OSHC Service Coordinator for King's Baptist Grammar School, Mount Barker. The role covers before/after school care and vacation care with a 27h5m week and casual contract.

You will lead activities, ensure safety, prepare snacks, and cooperate with compliance teams. Qualifications include a relevant diploma or higher, WWCC, First Aid/CPR, and willingness to obtain needed certifications.

• Diploma/Bachelor/Master in Early Childhood or related field.; check with us if your qualification is approved.

• A valid Working With Children Check, First Aid/CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management (willingness to obtain)

Job Details & Role

About your service: King's Baptist Grammar School, Mount Barker.

Hourly Rate: $47.81 to $50.00 Per Hour + 12% Super.

Additional payment of $2.07 to $2.15 per hour available under Worker Retention Payment Scheme.

• Days Required: Monday to Friday. Five days per week required.
• Before School Care: 6:30 am to 8:30 am.
• After School Care: 2:35 pm to 6:00 pm.
• Total Hours: 27 hours 5 minutes per week.
• Vacation Care: Up to 30 hours per week.
• Contract: Casual.
• Professional development sessions are paid training sessions, and Retention payments are above award.

As our OSHC Service Coordinator you will:

• Be the Visionary: You're the boss of the service! You'll plan and program epic science experiments, sports tournaments, fun educational activities and creative arts that kids actually want to do!
• Safety First, Fun Always: Lead a safe, inclusive environment while every child feels like a rockstar.
• Chef it up: Whip up healthy, tasty snacks that keep the energy levels high.
• Champion Quality: Work with your Programs Engagement Manager on Assessment & Ratings with the full backing of our compliance experts at our unit TEG Compass.
• The Community Connector: Ensure every stakeholder is heard and valued while building successful, integrated OSHC programs.
• The Clockwork Catalyst: Manage the day-to-day "business" of the service, ensuring everything runs like clockwork.

• The Qualification: You've got (or are studying toward) a Diploma, Bachelor's, Masters in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching, or School Aged Care, Youth Work, Community Services, and more. Check with us if your qualification is approved!
