Job summary

Unisys is seeking a proactive field engineer to install, repair, and maintain hardware and software at customer premises across diverse environments. You will own onsite service activity, communicate with customers, and coordinate with technical colleagues to ensure systems operate as designed and are upgraded when needed.

The role requires hands-on experience, a technical certification or associate degree, Australian citizenship, and NV1/NV2 clearance.

Qualifications

Technical certification or associate degree preferred.
At least 6 months of hands-on experience in field engineering or related technical support roles.
Proven ability to perform maintenance, installations, and troubleshooting in customer environments.
Must be an Australian Citizen
Active Australian Security Clearance - NV1/NV2 is mandatory requirement

Responsibilities

Installs, repairs, and provides technical maintenance for product and component hardware and software at customer premises.
Ensures systems operate as designed and are maintained or upgraded per requirements.
Works collaboratively with technical colleagues to deliver timely, effective service.
Manages scheduling, administration, and customer communication to ensure satisfaction with service delivery and product functionality.
Provides technical feedback on equipment, systems, and processes to improve service delivery.
