Job summary

Unisys seeks a Field Engineer to install, repair and maintain product hardware and software on customer premises. You will ensure systems operate as designed, upgrade per requirements, and collaborate with technical colleagues to deliver timely, effective service.

The role involves installing, configuring and troubleshooting on-site across desktops, servers and networks, while meeting SLA targets and maintaining documentation for customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in desktop, laptop, server, and network support.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of Windows OS, hardware, peripherals, and AV systems.
• Ability to work independently in a field-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware, software, networks, servers, and peripherals.
• Act as the primary Field Engineer for assigned clients, products, and service desks/kiosks.
• Support desktop, laptop, server, networking, and AV room technologies.
• Perform system installations, upgrades, moves, adds, and changes.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and ensure optimal system performance.
• Test and certify IT equipment, networks, and approved applications.
• Manage issue resolution, escalations, and customer follow-ups.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and administrative records.
