Job summary

Blackwoods is seeking a National Events Lead to own the end-to-end delivery of major industry expos, trade shows and hospitality events across Australia. You will work closely with Sales, Customer Experience, Category and Supplier teams to create engaging experiences that drive commercial outcomes.

This hands-on leadership role requires proven experience in large-scale B2B events, strong stakeholder management and a commercial focus on customer engagement and lead generation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering large-scale B2B events, expos or trade shows.
• Strong coordination and project management capabilities.
• Experience collaborating with marketing, sales and operations teams.
• Demonstrated people leadership and team development.
• Commercial mindset with focus on customer engagement and lead generation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver major Industry and customer events across Australia.
• Manage event budgets, timelines, and stakeholder communications.
• Partner with sales to maximise attendance, leads and post-event follow-up.
• Collaborate with suppliers to secure sponsorship and activation opportunities.
• Measure success via data, insights and post-event reviews.
• Lead and support a Regional Marketing Coordinator.
