Job summary

Victaulic is seeking a Business Development Manager (Mining) to lead a mining owner portfolio across Western Australia with optional national scope. The role requires trust-building, specification influence, and a structured project pipeline.

You will develop account plans, identify opportunities, and present CAPEX/OPEX analyses to owners and procurement teams while representing Victaulic at events and site visits. A strong mining network and strategic sales experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in senior BD / key account management in complex B2B industrial environments.
• Established WA mining sector network—owners.
• Deep knowledge of mining process systems, plant infrastructure, and piping design.
• Strong commercial acumen with CAPEX/OPEX business cases and total cost of ownership analyses.
• Valid Australian Driver's license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain deep understanding of each account's structure and priorities.
• Develop and execute tailored key account plans aligning Victaulic solutions with owner goals.
• Identify and qualify new project opportunities across brownfield and greenfield developments.
• Drive adoption of Victaulic grooved mechanical joining systems via master specs.
• Present solution-based sales addressing technical and commercial objections.
• Develop CAPEX/OPEX business cases showing cost reductions and savings.
• Represent Victaulic at industry events, site visits, and executive briefings.
• Contribute insights to product strategy and market entry planning for mining.
