Job summary

Victaulic, a global leader in mechanical pipe joining solutions, seeks a Business Development Manager - Data Centre in Sydney. You will drive growth by influencing specifications, identifying new data centre developments, and building relationships with owners, consultants, contractors, and industry stakeholders.

You will lead targeted market plans, collaborate cross-functionally, and stay ahead of design trends and sustainability requirements to deliver integrated Victaulic solutions throughout

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proven success in business development or technical sales within the data centre sector.
• Must have data centre owner groups contacts.
• Proven experience in specification influence and complex sales cycles.
• Experience with mission-critical infrastructure or EPC delivery models is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritise key data centre accounts and growth opportunities.
• Develop and execute a targeted business plan to expand Victaulic's influence.
• Identify upcoming data centre projects through research and industry networks.
• Influence owner standards and consultant specifications early in project cycles.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering and customers to deliver complete solutions.
• Maintain deep knowledge of design trends, sustainability requirements, and mechanical system technologies.
• Build and maintain industry relationships through events and client engagement.
