Job summary

In Vitro Technologies in Melbourne is seeking two full-time Inside Sales representatives to promote leading brands to Life Science accounts. Reporting to the Life Science Business Manager, you will drive sales of bioanalysis, drug discovery and spatial biology products.

Ideal candidates have a science background with research experience and strong communication skills, with a proven ability to close deals in a fast-paced environment. A supportive, growth-oriented team awaits.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification with Honours or Master's in Life Science.
• Minimum 1 year of laboratory-based research experience in Cell Biology, Immunology, or Translational Research.
• Previous sales experience in Life Science/biotech is desirable.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to close a sale.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound sales inquiries from Life Science accounts.
• Prepare and follow up on quotes, address questions and objections to convert leads.
• Build and maintain relationships through proactive communication.
• Represent world-class brands to select Life Science accounts in Australia.
• Occasionally perform outbound calls during slower periods.
• Contribute to ad-hoc sales initiatives and projects.
