Job summary

In Vitro Technologies Pty is seeking a Life Science Territory Manager to lead sales and promotion of its portfolio in Melbourne. Reporting to the Life Science Business Manager, you will cultivate relationships with Life Science customers and drive growth across the defined territory.

The role requires tertiary science education, 5+ years of field sales experience in life sciences, and the ability to perform product demonstrations with support from Product Management and Applications.

Qualifications

• Tertiary Science studies are essential.
• Functional laboratory experience is essential.
• 5+ years of scientific field sales experience is essential.
• Some prior experience or understanding of sales activities is beneficial.
• Basic computing and Microsoft Office proficiency required.
• Ability to build internal and external relationships.
• Valid Australian Driver's Licence and access to a vehicle.
• Willingness to travel for regional and national events.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of product details and applications.
• Demonstrate products in coordination with Product Management.
• Manage existing accounts and grow sales.
• Coordinate CRM maintenance with Life Science Business Manager.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are currently seeking a full-time Life Science Territory Manager to join our team in Melbourne.

Reporting to the Life Science Business Manager, you will be responsible for the sales and promotion of In Vitro’s unique product portfolio to our Life Science customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain a sellable understanding of our products and respective product details
• Enact product demonstrations in a compliant and technically accurate manner through coordination with Product Management and Application support
• Manage existing accounts in order to maintain stakeholder relationships and generate additional sales opportunities
• Coordinate weekly maintenance schedules of Customer Relationship Management systems (CRM) as directed by the Life Science Business Manager
• Canvas potential customers that may or may not have been identified previously who fall in the target market of our defined product range
• Participate in regional and national trade displays and conferences as required

ABOUT YOU:

• Tertiary Science studies are essential
• Functional laboratory experience is essential
• 5+ years of scientific field sales experience is essential
• Possess some prior experience or conceptual understanding of sales activities
• Basic computing and Microsoft competency is required
• A desire to foster key internal and external relationships is a must
• A current Australian Drivers Licence and access to a vehicle
