Job summary

Kennards Hire is seeking a friendly Hire Controller to be the go-to contact for customers, providing expert advice and coordinating hire contracts across our branch network. You will handle bookings, chargeable events, and support the branch with equipment movement and maintenance.

You will receive comprehensive training, ongoing development, and opportunities for profit share and employee discounts as part of Australia’s largest family-owned equipment hire company. Weekend roster may apply.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred
• Genuine interest in helping others

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service in branch or over the phone
• Coordinate hire contracts and branch administration
• Unload, load, deliver equipment and assist with servicing and cleaning
• Maintain knowledge of equipment range to advise customers
• Process payments and manage hire schedules
• Open/close the branch as required
• Keep showroom, yard and storage spaces clean and organized
