Job summary

Sofitel Adelaide is seeking a warm, professional Front Office Host to welcome guests by phone and in person, manage the hotel switchboard, direct calls and respond to enquiries with care.

You will connect guests with the right services, ensure an effortless stay, and uphold our standards of personalised luxury. English fluency and a guest-focused attitude are essential. Opera PMS experience is preferred, with a flexible roster encouraged.

Qualifications

• Guest-focused personality essential.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication; additional languages advantageous.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, problem solving, organisation and attention to detail.
• Prioritise, make sound decisions and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid South Australian RSA certification.
• Flexibility to work over a 7-day roster preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests by phone and in person with a warm, professional manner.
• Manage hotel switchboard, direct calls and respond to enquiries.
