Job summary

Sofitel Adelaide is seeking a proactive leader to oversee daily departmental operations, ensuring service standards and engaging guest interactions. You will coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance to prepare rooms, resolve issues promptly and safeguard materials to control costs.

The ideal candidate has prior luxury-hotel experience, strong leadership, time-management and problem-solving skills, and familiarity with Opera PMS or a similar system.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a similar luxury-hospitality role.
• Ability to work a flexible roster according to departmental needs.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and mentor large teams.
• Experience with Opera or a similar Property Management System.
• Excellent time-management, problem solving and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily departmental operations with a focus on guest interactions.
• Conduct regular inspections of front and back-of-house areas for cleanliness and standards.
• Assist with cleaning guest rooms and public areas as needed.
• Safeguard and manage cleaning materials and equipment, optimizing costs.
• Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance to ensure rooms are ready and guest concerns are addressed.
