Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. seeks a Guest Experience Host to manage front desk operations, greet owners and guests, and coordinate tours and reservations at our Whitsunday regional properties.

You will assist with information services, bookings, and club presentations, contributing to a high standard of guest satisfaction. The role emphasizes sales lead generation, upselling amenities, and maintaining smooth check-in/check-out processes in a dynamic hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Experience with PMS systems and Salesforce is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
• Customer service excellence demonstrated in hospitality or related fields.
• Computer literacy with office software experience.

Responsibilities

• Schedule onsite resident guests to Owner Updates or regular Club presentations.
• Meet the monthly tour budgets and penetration targets.
• Assist in the tour generation process to ensure that prospects meet the Company’s tour qualification specifications.
• Complete the relevant shift checklists (AM/Middle/PM).
• Greeting and welcome of guests with room escorts and porter service where suitable.
• Follow up calls or courtesy calls.
• Provision of tourist information and bookings for restaurants, tours, etc.
• Assisting owners in rooms with general requests and troubleshooting.
• Enter tour bookings into Salesforce and manage inquiries.
• Maintain reception and foyer area in a clean and tidy state at all times.
• Assist with lost property reporting and proper incident documentation.
