Job summary

KBR, Inc. in Brisbane seeks an Export Controls & Compliance Lead to direct international trade controls, governance and risk management for Australia operations.

You will partner with senior leaders, shape compliance programs and oversee licensing and classifications for complex projects. You will lead training, collaborate with stakeholders and ensure shipments comply with licences, laws and ITAR across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• ITAR and FMS regulatory frameworks knowledge across Australia, US and others.
• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years in Defence industry.
• Experience managing global export controls activities including third party recipients and retransfers.

Responsibilities

• Represent the organisation at global internal and regional forums on export controls and compliance.
• Identify licensing requirements and risks for projects and develop plans for authorisations.
• Provide advice on classifications, regulations, and commodity codes for project products.
• Support shipments and re-transfers to ensure compliance with licences, laws and regs.
• Track and improve performance and maintain traceability of export licence conditions.
