Job summary

Sheraton Port Douglas is seeking a Duty Manager to lead day-to-day operations, uphold hotel standards, and assist guests through check-in and check-out while delivering meaningful service.

You will supervise staffing, handle complaints, build guest relationships, and act as a confident, welcoming leader who inspires the team. OPERA PMS experience and Australian working rights are required; permanent full-time role with salary 75,000–90,000 plus superannuation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar managerial role in hospitality.
• Proven ability to manage guest expectations and service quality.
• Experience with OPERA or a comparable PMS is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations and ensure hotel standards are met.
• Assist guests during check-in and check-out with personalized service.
• Handle enquiries, complaints, and resolve conflicts to improve guest experiences.
• Supervise staffing levels to meet service and financial objectives.
