Job summary

Sheraton Port Douglas is seeking a Night Auditor / GSE to oversee Front Office operations during shifts and uphold Marriott standards. You will resolve guest issues in collaboration with Duty Managers and assist in safety investigations while ensuring smooth information flow to the Resort Operations Manager.

The role requires attention to maintenance, coordination with Housekeeping and Engineering, and active selling of hotel outlets.

Qualifications

• Experience with OPERA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Front Office operations during shift and ensure adherence to all Standards and Procedures.
• Deal with problems and complaints received with the support of Duty Managers. Immediately act to restore guest satisfaction, demonstrating Marriott Standards at all times.
• To notify and assist in investigations in all matters pertaining to safety and security
• Timely dissemination of information throughout the entire Front Office Department.
• Show due care of all equipment, report any maintenance issues and log accordingly.
• Liaise with Housekeeping & Engineering Departments to ensure adequate rooms are available for arrivals.
• Encourage selling of Hotel’s outlets and facilities.
• Be proactive in observing operational needs across the Hotel, enlisting staff from other departments to assist in areas where business demands are higher.
