Meriton Suites currently seeks a Manager on Duty to oversee daily Front Office operations in Canberra. You will work with senior management to ensure an exceptional guest experience, leading the team to deliver seamless check-in/check-out, manage room allocations and uphold Meriton Suites standards.

The role requires experience in a 4- or 5-star hotel, knowledge of a Property Management System (Guest Centrix or similar), a passion for hospitality, and full availability for a 7-day rotating

Formación

• Experience leading Front Office in a 4- or 5-star hotel.
• Proven ability to develop and coach a front office team.
• Strong guest-service focus with calm, professional handling of issues.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and develop the Front Office team to drive service excellence.
• Manage the guest arrival and departure experience.
• Monitor room allocations.
• Ensure front desk tasks are completed daily/nightly.
• Adhere to Meriton Suites standards, policies and procedures.
• Escalate customer issues to maintain high satisfaction and quality.
• Foster a strong team culture across the hotel and interdepartmental relationships.
