Job summary

Four Points by Sheraton is seeking a Manager on Duty in Sydney to oversee daily hotel operations, ensure service standards, and guide a motivated team. You will assist guests through arrival and departure, handle issues, and ensure the property meets its financial goals.

Leverage OPERA PMS familiarity, a strong managerial background, and a proactive, guest-centric approach to create memorable stays and drive future bookings across the Marriott network.

Qualifications

• Experience with OPERA property management system or similar.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations and ensure the quality and standards of the hotel are met.
• Assist guests during check-in and check-out processes.
• Handle complaints, negotiate and resolve grievances.
• Supervise staffing levels to meet guest service, operations and financial goals.
• Lead and motivate the team with energy and support.
• Provide warm, engaging service and answer general inquiries.
• Know the hotel and local area to enhance guest experiences.
• Foster relationships to drive repeat business and future bookings.
• Understand department operations' impact on property financial goals and drive results.
