Job summary

Border Express Pty Ltd is seeking an Operations Administration Assistant to join the busy team in Underwood, Brisbane. This full-time, permanent role focuses on supporting depot operations, freight management, and ensuring accurate data and safe practices across the network.

You will work closely with multiple departments to resolve freight issues, oversee driver debriefs, and maintain high accuracy in scanning and records.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport, warehousing or administrative support roles.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office tools.
• Able to work independently while contributing to a team.

Responsibilities

• Support and promote a strong safety culture across all operational activities.
• Investigate missing or damaged freight and coordinate with branches for prompt delivery.
• Collaborate with Customer Service and Operations to minimise discrepancies and damage.
• Prepare discrepancy reports and provide photographic documentation when needed.
• Coordinate freight re-directions and returns to support customer satisfaction and limit DIFOT impacts.
• Carry out driver debrief activities as the fleet returns to depot.
• Maintain high scanning accuracy and data integrity across all freight movements.
