Job summary

Team Global Express are seeking a Freight Operations Coordinator to join our Arundel depot on the Gold Coast. The role is a fixed-term position until the end of February 2027, with Monday to Friday work.

You will be hands-on and customer-facing, moving between the depot floor and office. You will assist customers with freight collections, damaged freight enquiries and general freight-related requests while supporting the depot's operational and administrative needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or transport operations.
• Excellent communication and multitasking abilities.
• Able to work hands-on in a depot environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with freight collections, enquiries and damaged freight matters, providing a helpful and professional service.
• Support the movement and handling of small parcels across the depot, including locating, sorting and preparing freight for collection.
• Liaise with customers, drivers and depot staff to coordinate freight movements and resolve day-to-day issues.
• Prepare and manage freight manifests, ensuring consignments are accurately recorded and allocated.
• Complete data entry, freight documentation and general administrative tasks.
• Conduct driver debriefs, process returned paperwork and follow up on discrepancies.
• Carry out freight and documentation audits to maintain operational accuracy and compliance.
• Provide flexible, hands-on support across both the depot floor and administration functions as required.
