Bluebird is recruiting a Founding Business Development Manager to lead the market entry for a renewable energy tech solution in Sydney. The role is office-based, five days per week, focusing on converting inbound homeowner inquiries into high-value solar/battery system deals via phone and video.

You’ll build a scalable sales process, aim for 18–20 deals per month, and grow with the founding team as the business expands into partnerships and wholesale channels in the energy sector.

Qualifications

• Must be a self-starter who drives action without hand-holding.
• Experience in high-velocity sales and B2C environments.
• Ability to learn quickly and be coachable in a fast-growing startup.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound homeowner leads via marketing funnel with discovery calls.
• Explain the model and close deals over phone/video in a short sales cycle.
