Business Development Manager - Commercial and Residential Solar

Locally owned solar and battery storage specialist based in Western Sydney, designing and installing systems for homes and businesses.

The team handles on-grid and off-grid installations, and every project is designed properly up front: panel layouts, battery sizing, and a clear picture of what the client will save each year and over the life of the system.

The business has a reputation for doing things the right way. It uses Tier 1 equipment only, backs it with long product and performance warranties, and stays with the client from design through to installation and rebates.

• Base salary plus commission on every installation you sign
• Tuesday to Saturday, with regular time on the road travelling across Sydney
• Direct access to the owner, so decisions are quick and your ideas are heard

About the role

• Visiting sites, getting across a client’s energy use and briefing the design team on proposals
• Presenting savings, payback, and payment options in plain terms
• Running your pipeline from first contact through to signed contract and handover to installation
• Building referral partnerships with builders, electricians, accountants, and property managers

What you will bring

• Experience n B2B or B2C business development, with a record of winning new clients
• Able to build trust, so clients feel they are dealing with someone who is straight with them.
• Exposure to solar, energy, electrical, building or another technical sale an advantage
• A current driver licence, access to a vehicle as fuel card and toll passes will be provided
