Job summary

Halter is seeking a Relat ionship Manager to join our Australia team, based in Tasmania. You will own retention and expansion in the region, ensuring farmers extract maximum value from Halter.

• 3-5 years of experience in relationship management/account management roles.
• Experience in dairy farming or within the agriculture sector with a deep passion for helping farmers succeed.
• Strong business acumen.

• The ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced working environment with a high degree of autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Revenue retention & expansion: own retention, renewals and expansion targets of Halter’s existing revenue in the region.
• Ensure farmers are extracting full value from Halter to achieve their goals and understand the impact on their farming business.
• Account management: renew customer agreements and expand revenue by adding value in every interaction to drive on-farm goals and performance.
• Deployment: support onboarding, training and implementation of the Halter system on customers' farms.
• Relationship building: proactively cultivate genuine relationships with farmers and their teams to foster strong connections.
• Farmer success: partner with customers to establish clear business goals, timelines and metrics of success.
• Problem-solving: provide prompt and effective communication and support addressing technical or operational challenges.
• Community & networking: represent the Halter brand and build local networks for increased visibility.
• Customer advocate: be the voice of the customer and provide product teams with ground-level insights.
• Technical expertise: work with product teams to offer practical advice from a farmer’s perspective.
