Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Sales Specialist – Application Solutions in Sydney to grow a portfolio of client accounts. This quota-bearing role focuses on retaining existing clients, identifying new opportunities, and driving account expansion and renewals.

You’ll sell Professional Services and Application Managed Services around ServiceNow, Salesforce, Data & AI, Microsoft and other enterprise solutions, collaborating with vendors, partners and internal teams to deliver value.

Qualifications

• Experience in consultative sales, business development or client account management in IT/tech/services.
• Proven ability to grow and retain client relationships.
• Ability to understand client business and connect to services.
• Experience managing sales opportunities through full lifecycle.
• Strong stakeholder management to align teams, vendors and partners.
• Ability to articulate complex application solutions in business terms.
• Commercial acumen with focus on client value and growth.
• Experience coordinating internal and external specialists.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow relationships across an assigned portfolio.
• Identify opportunities for new business, expansion and renewals.
• Partner with lead generation and BD teams to pursue opportunities.
• Build trusted client relationships by understanding industry and priorities.
• Help clients identify needs and articulate how services deliver value.
• Coordinate internal specialists, vendors and partners to develop solutions.
• Manage accounts, opportunities, pipeline and forecasts.
• Support client satisfaction throughout the buying lifecycle.
• Reduce churn and strengthen long-term retention.
• Maintain commercial, financial, governance and risk discipline.
