Job summary

NSW Department of Communities and Justice is seeking aCorrectional Education Officer to support LLND education across NSW. You will plan, develop, deliver and evaluate courses meeting accredited requirements and contribute to reducing re-offending and improving community safety.

Role involves LLND program delivery, enrolment management, and collaboration with AEVTI. Requires relevant teaching qualifications and ability to travel to multiple regional centres.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or Graduate Diploma in Education with relevant teaching qualification.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110/TAE40116/TAE40122 or successor).
• Current NSW driver’s licence and willingness to travel to centres.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain LLND classes and manage learners via OIMS.
• Enrol learners into education programs and conduct classes and assessments.
• Develop lesson plans and teaching resources for accredited courses.
• Participate in validation and moderation of assessments to ensure quality.
