Job summary

NSW Department of Communities and Justice seeks a Teacher for Corrective Services NSW across multiple NSW locations. You will plan, deliver and evaluate courses aligned to accredited programs and LLND initiatives, contributing to reduced re-offending and safer communities.

The role supports internal AEVTI education services with learner-centred approaches. You will teach, assess, and document learner progress, while adhering to policy and standards and being willing to travel across regions as

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or Graduate Diploma in Education required.
• Current NSW Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110/16/22 or successor) required.
• Must hold current NSW driver’s licence and be willing to travel to various centres within the preferred region.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, deliver and evaluate courses meeting accredited course requirements.
• Contribute to LLND in General Education and Training programs.
• Build and maintain LLND classes and manage learners in OIMS.
• Enroll and progress learners through appropriate education programs.
• Conduct context-specific teaching and assessments.
• Develop lesson plans and teaching resources for accredited qualifications.
• Participate in course evaluations and maintain assessment quality.
• Maintain learner records and progress reporting.
