Corrective Services NSW is seeking a dedicated Correctional Education Officer to plan, develop, deliver and evaluate LLND courses across NSW. You will contribute to education programs in multiple regions and support offender education and employment pathways.

Your role involves coordinating LLND services, maintaining learner records and delivering education within approved policies and standards to reduce re-offending and enhance community safety.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Education allows teaching in the required learning area.
• Graduate Diploma in Education complements teaching qualifications.
• Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is required for delivery and assessment.
• A NSW driver’s licence is essential and travel to centres will be required.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain LLND classes and manage learners in OIMS.
• Invite eligible learners to participate in LLND programs.
• Pre-enrolment proficiency review to determine suitable education program.
• Enrol learners into appropriate education programs following established processes.
• Conduct classes and assessments tailored to adult learners and aligned with accreditation.
• Develop lesson plans and teaching resources for accredited courses and training packages.
• Participate in evaluation processes including validation and moderation of assessments.
• Coordinate LLND education programs and inmate access to education resources.
• Maintain learner records, progress and achievement in system records.
• Provide reports on learning progress and support education and employment pathways.

Educación

Bachelor’s degree in Education

Graduate Diploma in Education
