Job summary

Corrective Services NSW is seeking a Correctional Education Officer to plan, develop, deliver and evaluate LLND programs across NSW regions. You will contribute to reducing re-offending and community safety by delivering accredited courses through the AEVTI education service provider.

You’ll build LLND classes, manage learner placement in OIMS, enrol participants, and assess progress while maintaining thorough administrative records and reports for offender education pathways.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or Graduate Diploma in Education, from a recognised university, enabling teaching in AEVTI

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, deliver and evaluate courses meeting accredited requirements
• Build and maintain LLND classes and allocate learners in OIMS
• Enrol learners and conduct learner assessments and classes
• Develop lesson plans and teaching resources for accredited qualifications
• Coordinate LLND programs and inmate access to computers and library
• Maintain learner records and progress in accordance with processes
