Zusammenfassung

Corrective Services NSW is seeking a Correctional Education Officer to plan, develop, deliver and evaluate courses that meet accredited standards, contributing to reduced re-offending and improved community safety. You will support LLND in General Education and Training programs delivered by AEVTI.

The role covers multiple NSW regions (North, South, Metro, West) with ongoing, full-time employment. A Bachelor’s in Education or equivalent, plus TAE, is required, and a NSW driver’s licence is

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Graduate Diploma in Education or higher with relevant subject qualifications.
• Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110/16/22) or successor; and willingness to travel.

Aufgaben

• Build and maintain LLND classes using OIMS.
• Invite eligible learners to participate in LLND programs.
• Conduct pre-enrolment proficiency reviews.
• Enrol learners into appropriate education programs.
• Deliver contextualised classes and assessments.
• Develop lesson plans and resources for accredited courses.
• Participate in assessment validation and moderation.
• Coordinate LLND programs and services across centres.
• Maintain learner enrolment, participation, progress and achievement records.
• Provide regular reports on learner learning progress and outcomes.
